Your subscription fee varies based on the portion size and the number of meals you select each week. Prices start at £6 per meal, with a minimum order of six meals.

How it works:

  • Standard – designed for balanced, everyday meals
  • Large – includes more calories and protein, ideal for bigger appetites or more active lifestyles

You’re free to update your portion size, number of meals, or delivery schedule at any time through your account settings.

If you are new customer. You’ll receive free delivery on your first order automatically.

When payments are processed:

  • Your first payment is charged right away at checkout
  • Future orders are billed every Tuesday at 2pm
  • Charges are applied to your saved payment method

Once the payment is processed, your order is confirmed and prepared. Make sure to apply any changes before Tuesday at 2pm if needed

What is the best way to store my meals after delivery?

As soon as your order arrives, place the meals in the fridge as quickly as possible.

To keep them at their best:

  • Store in a refrigerator at 5°C or below
  • Always refer to the use-by date on each label
  • If you don’t plan to eat them within 5 days, freeze them immediately

All meals are delivered chilled and securely sealed to maintain freshness, and freezing them is a great way to extend shelf life without affecting taste or quality.

Microwave (from chilled):

  • Slightly lift the corners of the plastic film
  • Heat on high for 3 minutes
  • Let it rest for 1 minute before serving

Microwave (from frozen):

  • Follow the same steps, but heat for 7.5 minutes
  • Make sure the centre is piping hot before eating

Our trays are designed to be both microwave- and oven-safe.

Here’s how to use them:

  • Microwave: Slightly peel back the plastic film and heat the meal directly in the tray
  • Oven: Preheat to 180°C, place the tray on a baking sheet, and bake until heated through

Our meals are delivered fresh rather than frozen and are intended to remain safe and tasty for up to 5 days when stored in the fridge.

Each meal is labelled with a clear use-by date, so you’ll always know how long it can be kept.

To make them last longer, you can freeze the meals as soon as they arrive. They can be cooked directly from frozen without any loss in quality.

Yes, you can freeze your meals for later use. When cooking from frozen, simply follow the “from frozen” instructions and ensure the meal is heated thoroughly until it reaches 75°C. This helps maintain both great flavour and safe food standards.

Packaging & Delivery

How is my food kept fresh during delivery?

We pack every order using temperature-controlled packaging to ensure your meals stay fresh and chilled for up to 48 hours

Here’s how it works:

  • Insulated liners help maintain a consistent cool temperature
  • Ice packs are carefully placed to keep meals cold throughout the day
  • The outer box is durable and designed to withstand the demands of delivery

If your Prep Meals hasn’t arrived or something seems off, here’s what to do first:

  • Check your DPD tracking link in your email
  • Use the DPD app to track your driver in real time
  • Review any safe place photos or delivery updates from the courier

Still having trouble?

Since your parcel is with DPD, they’re usually best equipped to handle delivery issues directly. However, if you’re not getting the support you need, feel free to reach out—we’ll be happy to step in and assist or contact them for you.

We’re here to make sure your meals arrive safely and on schedule.

  • Our packaging is thoroughly tested to keep meals at safe, chilled temperatures throughout delivery
  • Ice packs are carefully calibrated to maintain cool conditions all day while in transit

Hot weather tip:

On particularly warm days, or if your box is left in direct sunlight (for example, on a doorstep or patio), the cooling period may be shorter.

Yes – Sunday deliveries will usually still take place over bank holiday weekends.

However, as deliveries are handled by DPD, there may sometimes be changes depending on their schedule.

If your delivery is affected, we’ll always let you know in advance.

  • To recycle:

Carefully cut open the ice pack

Flush the non-toxic gel down the drain using plenty of hot water

Rinse the plastic sleeve

Recycle it according to your local soft plastics recycling rules

  • To reuse:

Refreeze them for future Simmer deliveries

Use them as a cold pack for minor aches or sore muscles

Take them along in a cooler for picnics or days out

Reusing them is the most eco-friendly option, and the gel remains effective through several freeze – thaw cycles.

We deliver across mainland UK

However, some remote areas of Scotland are outside the 24-hour courier network, so we’re unable to reach those locations at the moment. We also don’t currently deliver to Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands.

All orders include a £7.99 delivery fee.

New customers receive free delivery on their first order.

About Subscriptions

What’s the process for cancelling my subscription?

Just so you know, if you cancel your subscription, any unused discounts linked to your account will be removed.

Thinking of closing your Simmer account entirely?

You can do this by clicking the link below and following the on-screen steps to confirm your cancellation.

Skipping a delivery only takes a moment – as long as it’s done before Tuesday at 2pm.

Good to know:

When you skip, that week is simply removed from your schedule – no payment is taken and no box is sent. It’s a flexible way to take a break whenever you need it.

Pinch Of Asia is set up as a weekly plan, but it’s completely flexible. If you don’t want meals every week, no problem, you can pause whenever you like and come back anytime.

  • Pause weeks freely

No hidden fees or obligations.

Skipping weeks doesn’t cost anything, and you’re not locked in after your first delivery.

In fact, many people only order occasionally—like once or twice a month—whenever they need a quick reset or a break from cooking.

After 2pm on Tuesday, your Pinch Of Asia order is finalised for the upcoming delivery.

By then, we’ve already confirmed ingredient quantities with our suppliers to make sure everything is prepared fresh and without excess. This approach helps us minimise waste and cook more responsibly.

Because of this, we’re unable to make changes or cancel orders after the deadline.

That said, we understand things don’t always go to plan.

If you miss the deadline

Drop us a message. While we can’t always reverse an order once it’s in motion, we’ll do our best to help – such as moving your box to a later week or offering account credit where appropriate.
